ARCore Ruler app - Powerful tape measure tool that leverages Augmented Reality technology.

The AR Ruler app utilizes augmented reality (AR) to measure real-world objects using your smartphone's camera. Simply aim at a detected plane and start using the AR tape measure tool:

1. Line - for measuring linear sizes in cm, m, ft, yd; also supports mm and inch rulers.
2. Distance meter - measure the distance from the device camera to a fixed point on the detected 3D plane.
3. Angle - for measuring corners on 3D planes.
4. Area and Perimeter.
5. Volume - measure the size of 3D objects.
6. Path - calculate the length of a path.
7. Height - measure height relative to the recognized surface.

The Photo Ruler app is designed to accurately measure object sizes either by taking a picture or measuring on screen alongside traditional mm ruler or tape measure tools.

How to use Ruler app:

Photo Ruler app:

- Ensure the object you want to measure and a known-length object (Base Item) are in the same picture.

- Select a Base Item, such as Debit/Credit card or Quarter, from the predefined list in the ruler app settings.

- Make sure that both the Base Item and the object to be measured using the Ruler app are in the same plane and parallel to the ruler app camera to avoid image distortions caused by perspective.

- Align the Blue arrows with the Base Item and Green arrows with the object to be measured. The measurement will display on the Ruler app screen.

Ordinary mm ruler app:

- Use your screen as a traditional mm ruler. Place a small object on the device screen and adjust the line limiters against it.

- If you notice visual distortions, reset the mm ruler app calibration manually. Calibration can be done using different Base Items like Debit/Credit cards or coins. Choose between Imperial (inches) and Metric mm ruler (centimeters).

Accuracy of mm ruler app:

If markers are aligned correctly, measurements will be as precise as with traditional tools such as an mm ruler or tape measure.
